Courses

Subject Selection:

You must advise us of any subjects and requirements that must be met for when you return home.

If you are sitting NCEA you will need to submit an IELTS test so we can help you decide what level you can study at in each subject and how much extra English help you will need.

You will be placed in a Hui Ako class according to your age and placed in subject classes taking into account:

  • the level you have reached in your home school

  • how well you can cope with English

  • your long term plans for study either when you return home or for further study in New Zealand.

A course of at least two years is strongly recommended if you are planning to apply to enter university in New Zealand.

International students are expected to take full part in class activities ad assessments.

A programme of activities will be arranged for students who do not enter NCEA exams in Term 4.
